The ISA data sampling card used in dielectric loss tangent study

This paper mainly study the princi- ple and design of the data sampling card, used in measuring the dielectric loss tangent. The CPLD (Complex Programmed Logic Device) EPM7128SLC84-15 microchip manufactured by ALTERA company is used as kernel chip. This data sampling card is designed for study dielectric loss tangent, so it have the advantage of sampling data at same time, the sampling rate higher than 200kbps and the MSF RAM; At the other hand ,it adopts the 16-bit ISA bus, and can parallel communicate with computer at the speed higher than 200kbps. This paper also introduce the importance of tan δ, the principle of measurement and the implement of hardware and software.
