Fast transfer switch for uninterruptible AC power system optimized for telecom application

摘要

This paper describes the super fast power transfer switch that provides improvement in power supply system performance achieved by uninterruptible connection to the second commercial source in case of failure of the first commercial sources. It outlines the various details of circuit development of proposed transfer switch and main factors in operation under various conditions. It concludes that the use of fast electronic transfer switch In power systems is a cost effective method for a substantial improvement in performance of uninterruptible power supply systems.
