The mending up technology of mould with partial surface faults

A new technology being used to mend up mould with surface-faults is introduced in this paper. Many types of mould with partial surface faults may be renovated by this technology. The material filled upon the mould's surface binds the base metal in melt way. So the binding strength is very high. At the same time, the heat input to the base metal is very small, so the heat is of little influence to the base metal. Therefore, the renovated mould by the technology doesn't have to be heat treated again. What it needed is that simply polishing the filled surface part. Then the renovated mould may be used as a new one.
