TiO_2 nanoparticles are provided directly by an anodic electrodeposition of aqueous TiCl_3 solution which is prepared by dissolving Ti-6Al-4V machining chips in warm chloroacidic solution. Annealing temperature influences surface morphology, degree of crystallinity and average size of deposited TiO_2 particles. Cyclic voltammograms show that by annealing temperature higher than 300 °C, poorly crystalline titanium dioxide converts into anatase phase. The TEM images of the provided TiO_2 powders illustrate the crystalline particles with a spheroidal shape with a particle size of around 15-25 nm.
