Computer supported cooperative work (CSCW) examines the possibilities and effects of technological support for humans involved in collaborative group communication and work processes. In collaborative environment, shared objects' management is an important aspect to be studied. In this paper, some concepts related to shared-objects are introduced first, and the requirement for the service of shared objects if analyzed. Then a three-layered managenment model is presented and some related technologies of shared objects' data management is discussed.
