TATB Production Process with Ammonium Carbonate

摘要

TATB production process using solid ammonium carbonate as amination agent is presented in this paper. This process has such advantages that simple equipments, ambient reaction pressure and temperature, easy operation and less solvent are needed. The ash content, the chloride content and the average grain size are respectively < 0.02%, 0.3～0.4% and 16.8μm. The output rate is 87% in terms of TCTNB and 97.8% in terms of S-TCTNB.
