Prospective,randomized,controlled clinical trials evaluating the ability of different antiretroviral drug regimens or treatment strategies to induce recovery of specific immune responses have not been completed.The data collected to date have generallybeen derived from observations during prospective treatmment with a single potent combination regimen.
