In recent years, large scale flotation cells have been used very well in China. The design principles of flotation cell in different processes are established, the trend extrapolation method of flotation cell scaling up is developed, which based on stepwise regression and similar enlargement at the same Reynolds number in different size flotation cells. The technical way and method for flotation cell development is formed, which base on separation performance, control strategy, arrangement and process. In the 320 m~3 air-forced flotation cell which is the biggest flotation cell in the world, mineral particles distribute uniformly, which indicates that the mineral grains suspend well in flotation cell. The enrichment ratio of copper is up to 20.62 through a single set of 320 m~3 flotation cell, and the enrichment ratio of sulphur is up to 71.44. The successful application of 320 m~3 flotation cell indicates that China becomes one of the several countries in the world who masters the key technical of flotation cell scaling up.
