Many present locks for prevention from theft has only simple mechanism and single control. A lot of users request for their improvement. The locks schould have been improved not only in the appearance but also in the mechanical construction. Since such improvement had not been found in the industry, it was adopted as a subject of the graduation study of our college students. Ideal industry-college cooperation which was able to make the best use of their strong points was pursued in the study. As a result of consultation with the company, a double lock system with mechanical construction of horseshoe-shape was employed to decrease theft. This study gave sufficient training effects to students.
