This paper discusses the design on some key techniques in a cooperative authoring system WWWDOC for WWW document, including system's architecture, organization of document catablog tree and storage management for WWW document, cooperation mechanism, concurrent control, coherence of hypertext, and graphical navigation. In the end, the software structure of WWWDOC is also introduced.
