Studies on the Application Technology and Mechanism of Polyamide Polyamine Epichlorohydrin Resin to Kraft Reed Pulp

Polyamide polyamine epichlorohydrin (PPE) is one of the most efficient wet-strength resins used in papermaking. In this work, the factors affecting wet -strengthening efficiency of PPE applied to kraft reed pulp, the technology of using PPE in combination with anionic polymers, and the mechanism of wet-strength development have been studied.
