The present paper presents the work of using nano cement mortar to be used in the green building construction was developed resulted to high performance in mechanical properties, such as compressive and flexural strengths, that will minimize the the need for massive quantities of the construction materials that eventually will reduce the carbon footprint due to the reduction in the energy consumption used for the construction material. Different cubes and prisms were cast and tested for determining the compressive and flexural strengths (modulus of rupture) of nano cement mortar. The parameters considered were micro sand, micro cement sulphate resistance conforming ASTM C150 type II, particle size (45-0.7)μm, micro sand (300-75)μm, conforming ASTM C33, nano silica (500-100)μm. Naphthalene sulphonate was used as super-plasticizers. The cement mortar matrices were considered in four groups.
