A Distributed Identifier Mapping Resolving System for Space-Air-Ground Integrated Network

In order to solve the problems of network security and mobility caused by the ambiguity of traditional network IP address, space-air-ground integrated network (SAGIN) can be networked based on the identifier mapping system, which realizes the separation of identifier and locator. Since a large number of users will access SAGIN in the future, the storage and maintenance of mapping information will face a great problem. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a mixed-level distributed identifier mapping resolving system, which divides the core network into two levels. The intra-domain identifier management server (IDMS) maintains the mapping relation between IP address and routing identifier (RID). The inter-domain IDMS maintains the mapping relation between IP address prefix and server identifier (SID) in the access AS. We will describe the working principle of this system in detail, and prove that it can well meet the scenario that a large number of users access SAGIN. Tested in a virtual environment, the results show that the mapping information resolving delay of this system meets the requirements of SAGIN.
