This paper presents an automatic-recovery inertial switch and it consists of a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) substrate, a glass cover plate and three Galinstan marbles. These three marbles consist of a Galinstan core and a powder shell. One marble coated with a graphene shell works as the movable electrode, and the other two marbles coated with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) shell work as the supporting structure to help the graphene-coated marble quickly move back to its original position when the inertial force disappears. The performance of the inertial switch was tested, the threshold was 51.2 g, the response time was 0.66 ms and the contact time was 0.88 ms.
