摘要

It was observed that non-anchorage of the wall longitudinal baralong with boundary confinements significantly increases thedrift capacity of the wall and limiting damage. Transversereinforcement in terms of boundary confinements was moreinfluential when limited to the critical zone. It could betterconfine the core concrete of the non-anchored wall and resultedin highest effective compressive stress and strain.AcknowledgementThe present work was supported by the Tokyo MetropolitanResilience Project of National Research Institute for EarthScience and Disaster Resilience (NIED).
