A FRAMEWORK FOR INCORPORATING NATURAL ASSETS INTO ASSET MANAGEMENT PRACTICES FOR BUILT SYSTEMS

The Water Research Foundation (WRF) and the US Endowment for Forests and Communities have supported WRF project 4727, to develop a framework for incorporating natural assets into utility asset management (AM) programs that traditionally focus only on built systems. This presentation provides the Framework and associated Guidance the research team developed for including natural assets in AM programs. The final WRF report for project 4727 will be completed in February 2020, and the published report should be available from WRF a few months thereafter.
