As an important part of urban transportation, the continuous optimization of bus networks is an important way to improve the matching degree between supply and demand of buses and to continuously improve the operation level and service quality of conventional buses. How to scientifically evaluate the rationality of bus line optimization schemes is a problem to be solved in carrying out the audit of bus line optimization. This research constructs an indicator system of bus line service evaluation covering network technology performance, line operation design and line service level, and is based on multi-source data such as bus station data, operation data, and passenger flow data, from five aspects: network coverage, network accessibility, ride convenience, passenger flow adaptability, and operation adaptability. The evaluation system of the optimization and adjustment scheme of the bus lines is constructed by systematic evaluations in every aspect, and then the comprehensive evaluation model of the optimization of the bus lines is established, and the quantitative grading evaluation method of the optimization of the bus lines is formed by clustering analysis, which realizes the scientific grading. In this paper, some typical bus line optimization schemes in Beijing are selected for empirical analysis. The results show that the evaluation method can accurately achieve the hierarchical evaluation of bus line optimization schemes. Through quantitative grading evaluation, it can provide comprehensive and quantitative decision support for the Audit Comparison and selection before the implementation of the optimization scheme of the bus network and the evaluation of the effect after the implementation of the scheme.
