Analysis of Life Expectancy using various Regression Techniques

Life Expectancy is of great interest for any country so that proper economic and social status can be analyzed and the population groups in maximum need gets the benefit. This paper investigates the effect of the various representative parameters which impact life expectancy. Around 193 countries data are analyzed through visualization techniques to bring out the relationship between different parameters which have impact on life expectancy. Relationship between dependent variable (life expectancy) and various other independent variable is established through five regression techniques. The hyperparameter tuning for these techniques has been done through Grid search method. The Gradient Boosting Regression gives the best results and is also capable of overcoming overfitting.
