With the development of municipal modernization, the governance and supervision of municipal solid waste become more and more complicated. New supervision methods are required. From the perspective of big data chain, this paper designs the specific application scheme of municipal solid waste smart supervision, introduces the background, overall design, generation source supervision, collection process supervision, GIS application, real-time event tracking, information management, decision support and other subsystems of municipal solid waste smart supervision platform based on big data, and further demonstrates the role and benefits of big data in municipal solid waste smart supervision.
