Recognition of radar emitter signals is important in radar reconnaissance systems of modern warfare. Recognizing radar-emitted signal is challenged due to the complexity of electromagnetic signals. Thus, this paper presents a new approach to recognize the radar modulation type of constant pulse repetition interval (PRI) in dense electromagnetic environments. In the presence of missing pulses, a constant PRI type recognition scheme (CPTRS) is proposed, too. The selected features exploit the difference and the variation information of pulse trains to describe inter-pulse intervals. The proposed CPTRS identifies a pulse train with randomly distributed missing pulses.
