After severe cerebral injury, a series of pathological changes occur in the cerebral circulatory system. Intracerebral hemorrhage is one of the most common brain diseases which would induce secondary cerebral ischemia. The electrical impedance tomography technique provides an alternative for continuous monitoring of brain damage. However, the reconstructed image is unsatisfactory in the reconstruction of hemorrhage accompanied by secondary ischemia. In this paper, to improve the reconstructed image, a novel superimposed imaging method is proposed for simultaneous reconstruction of hemorrhage and ischemia in the frontal lobe. Both qualitative and quantitative results indicate that the proposed method is advantageous in reconstructing simultaneous hemorrhage and secondary ischemia. The results show that the proposed method is significantly advantageous in the reconstruction of Intracerebral hemorrhage accompanied by secondary ischemia.
