An era of exploration where humans have explored the entire Earth and presently are also exploring the Moon. The recent research findings of Chandrayaan - 1 suggest that there are traces of water on the south pole of the Moon. This attracted everyone's attention. Since this discovery, humans have been trying to find more evidence of the water on the Moon. Since the discovery of water traces on the Jezero crater on Mars, humans are interested in finding out the evolution and geological processes of Mars. To understand the planet Mars, a manned mission travelling to Mars might find the commute difficult, but to live and survive on Mars is more difficult than ever imagined. Neither Mars or Moon has a welcoming atmosphere for humans. Mars' atmosphere is mainly composed of carbon dioxide and does not even have any components of oxygen in it. Moon has no atmosphere hence no atmospheric pressure. The temperature on the moon ranges from -178°C to 120°C. All these properties of the Moon and Mars are inhabitable for humans, which is why this proposed model gives an idea to build a habitat on the South Pole of the Moon and near the Jezero crater on Mars for thirty lunar days/ thirty sols accommodating six astronauts. We have designed and automated a smart habitat using STM32H7 microcontroller incorporated with IoT and AI on LabView. The proposed idea does not only concentrate on the habitat, but also on the Extravehicular rover, which defines habitation.
