Evolution of recursive programs with multi-niche geneticprogramming (mnGP)

A recursive program is one of the most intelligent andsophisticated programs written by a human programmer. This paperprovides challenging experiments for the evolution of such anintelligent recursive program with genetic programming (GP). In thispaper, we propose two types of multi-niche GP (mnGP): GP withstructure-based multi-niches and GP with fitness case-basedmulti-niches. We apply them to Fibonacci series and to a search problem.We have obtained outstanding results with mnGP for these problems
