Design of Property Management Information System in Residential Community Based on GIS

摘要

There are many objects having geographical or spatial location attribute in residential community, such as roads, buildings etc. In order to manage these objects more intuitively, this paper introduced GIS technology into management information system (MIS), and applied it to property management. Much of the power of GIS lies in managing vector graphic; meanwhile MIS finished the pure management function. Through study on this system, it resolved some problems that the MIS can’t resolve, for example, spatial information statistic and spatial data analysis etc, accordingly improves intuition and maneuverability of system.
