This paper describes the characteristics of conductive noises whena fuse is blown. First, this paper shows that the fusing time isdominated by voltage supplied to load through fuses, and thecharacteristics of the arc-discharge after fusing which are located tonoise are described. The bridge model is proposed to investigate thegeneration mechanism of arc-discharge phenomena. Finally, the conductivenoises generated on AC-mains etc. when a fuse is blown and theircharacteristics are shown in comparison with noises generated when amechanical switch cuts off the load, and it is shown that the former isbigger than the latter
