The aerospace industry continues to look for innovative ways to develop the pipeline for tomorrow's workforce. Job postings and unemployment data show that the U.S labor force does not have enough STEM workforce to supply the demand. Engaging teachers by allowing them to experience what it is like to work in aerospace businesses helps impact the local and global STEM community for the long-term. Commitment to education through practical application, starting with teachers, helps generate an aerospace advocacy pipeline starting in middle and high school classrooms. Aerojet Rocketdyne is part of an innovative program in the School District of Palm Beach County that connects the community's educational system and aerospace industry.
