Automatic vending machine can be one of the solutions to provide an optimal distribution as one of the keys factor to controlling the prices of basic commodities. It can be connected with LoRaWAN as IoT connectivity which has wide area coverage, low power, and delay tolerant. This paper tested and evaluated the IoT connectivity using LoRaWAN for a vending machine network. The tested connectivity range are 0, 200, 400, and 600 meters and we did not take varying condition of any varying weather condition. The performance of Time on-air, Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI), Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), and Throughput are 1.84 seconds, 87%, −87.75 dBm, and 374.59 bit/s, respectively.
