摘要

This paper proposes a new steady state model of wind power plant (WPP) for load flow analysis of an interconnected electric power system. The important feature of the method in the present work is in the model development. The proposed model derivation is quite simple where only basic circuit theories (i.e., Kirchhoff and Ohm laws) are used in the process. As it is simple, incorporation of the model into load flow analysis is also easy and straightforward. The proposed model has successfully been applied to a 3-bus electric power system. Comparison with other model (multi-node model) has also been carried out for validation purpose. Test results confirm that the proposed model is valid, and therefore can be used as a method to integrate WPP into the load flow analysis of an interconnected multi-machine electric power system.
