The work contains the results of an analytical justification of the methodology of multidimensional polarization-correlation microscopy of optically thin histological sections of biological tissues and films of biological fluids by introducing a new parameter - the complex degree of mutual anisotropy (CDMA). A technique has been developed for experimental measurement of coordinate distributions of the modulus of the polarization-correlation parameter of the CDMA, which characterizes polycrystalline networks of optically thin biological layers. Two-dimensional distributions of the values of the CDMA module of histological sections of biological tissues and films of biological fluids were investigated experimentally in the framework of statistical, correlation and fractal approaches.
