Consideration of Appliance Superconductors in Inductive Short Circuit Current Limiter

In the article the way of solving a problem of short circuit currents due to usage of the offered inductive transformer type short circuit limiter is considered. The constructive scheme of inductive transformer type short circuit current limiter with a high temperature superconducting coils is considered. The principle of functioning of such device and features of transient process at occurrence of sudden short circuit are analysed. The mathematic model of inductive transformer type short circuit current limiter with equivalent core of magnetic system is carried out.
