A Wavelet Based Disaggregation Approach for Unusual Audio Detection

摘要

The paper proposes a non-intrusive audio based machine learning model based system that enable the near and the dear of the elderly to monitor the elderly in case of any change in the ambient routine. The proposed system intends to alert the near and dear or the pre specified contacts in case of any change in the observed routines through detection of unusual audio; towards this, the audio as received is processed through disaggregation performed by using WSVM to get a better performance. The approach is novel and results found to be promising.
