A method of man-mad error detection and flight safety evaluation is proposed based on flight simulation. In this method, a flight simulation platform is established, driver maneuvering model and man-made error identification model are built as well. During the flight simulation, the driver’s manipulation behaviors are monitored in real time, and compared with the driver’s maneuvering model at the same time. As a result, the driver’s errors during the operation are identified and detected, and the impact on flight safety and flight quality is evaluated as well. The effectiveness of the model and the method is verified by the experiment of a pilot’s disengaging from an airplane under simulated flight environment.
