A design of dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) based multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) antenna array is presented in this paper. This MIMO antenna is designed using hemispherical shape DRA for IEEE 802.11p WLAN band applications. IEEE 802.11p WLAN band is licensed for intelligent transportation systems (ITS) applications. The structure of MIMO antenna array is made of two arrays having two radiating elements in each array. A corporate type feed network has been designed to feed the antenna array. The antenna array is designed on Arlon AD270 PCB substrate and obtained impedance bandwidths are 5.76% and 5.78% for port1 and port2, respectively. The peak gain is noticed as 9.2 dBi for both the ports.
