Corn Starch processing is a major process around the world Current treatment of waste water for the process is a multistep operation involving multiple technologies TMF appears to be a good option for processing of starch process waste water allowing simple recovery of both water and product. TMF may be a major component of gluten processing with as yet undetermined post treatment. Significant cost savings and simplification of the current starch waste water processing is easily achievable by using TMF.
