Flammer's exact solution for electromagnetic scattering from a circular, perfectly conducting disk is reviewed and implemented to produce the current density at various points on the disk. This information is used to assess the accuracy of method-of-moments numerical solutions of the electric field integral equation. The error in both the scattering cross section and current density is computed for several examples. In addition, the performance of singular basis functions used to incorporate edge singularities in numerical solutions is evaluated.
