E-commerce is now a growing reality on the Web because continuous field studies carried out in these confirm the growing use of them to make purchases. In this context, it is essential to analyze the different models that define a web application in order to improve the usability of each one in order to provide a better user experience to the clients of the sites. In this paper concepts related to a web application and the three models that compose it (application or content model, navigation model and presentation model) are presented, what is a refactoring is defined, specifically characterizing the refactoring of the presentation model, a catalog of presentation model refactoring for E-commerce sites presented in a previous work is reviewed, and the results of the usability evaluation of the same are shown and analyzed.
