At present, the number of faults caused by the deterioration of mechanical characteristics of disconnectors in GIS equipment has gradually increased, but there is no effective fault detection method. According to this situation, we have developed a comprehensive device that can detect the mechanical characteristics of disconnectors in GIS equipment. Through the torque sensor, motor current sensor, output shaft rotation angle sensor and a set of expert diagnostic analysis software based on the device, the device can reflect the change trend of the mechanical characteristics of the disconnector in the GIS equipment, locate the defect position of the disconnector, give analysis results and maintenance opinions. The device has been practically used in substations, and the application proofs device can effectively detect the fault of the disconnector's component in GIS equipment, and improve the effectiveness of maintenance.
