摘要

The paper deals with settings of periodic in-service testing of ammunition. It analyzes known ageing conditions and characteristics of explosives and compares them with conditions of in-service testing procedures given by Czech Defense Standard 137603. The analysis shows particularly possibility of extension of in-service testing periods on the base of present very conservative settings. Changes of mean storage temperature and required accuracy of artificial ageing temperature are recommended. This leads to reduction of artificial ageing periods.
