Study of hammering device to put on multi-copter targeted for bridge floor slabs

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport required mandatory inspection of hit sounds of structures such as bridges and tunnels regularly every five years. Hammering test is no destructive inspection which we hammer the subject of examination side with a hammer and distinguish the abnormality of it by analyzing hammered sounds. The introduction of the robot is expected for efficiency improvement of it. In particular, we pay attention to hammering test approach by using multi-copter because it has high mobility and lets us shorten a working hour. In this research, we designed and prototyped a hammering tone inspection machine for hammering test with multi-copter, and carried out test on mounting on multi-cotter.
