Saizeriya is operating more than 1,000 Italian restaurants in Japan as a chain and staffing many employees as the restaurant managers. Although their major role is to manage the personnel including part time employees, the role should be spread by training them the VE skill to improve the productivity of the restaurants and to be competitive. However, it is extremely difficult to prevail new initiatives to the entire company like a restaurant chain, since the managers are distributed nationwide and to keep training them. In this sense, VE is also the difficult methodology to prevail the mindset to the entire company. Therefore, rf VE was successfully prevailed to the company, it would become a strong asset to the company. Although VE was introduced in 2013, it is necessary to keep implementing the new VE initiatives so that the eagerness of the employees to VE could never be cooler.
