The importance of the sensor devices in the recovery of the patients with the carpal tunnel syndrome

The Carpal tunnel syndrome is a frequent health condition in the extremity of the upper limb determined by the compression of the median nerve in the fibre bone tunnel at the level of the fist. The incriminated factors in the increase of the absenteeism length in the professional activity of the persons with the Carpal tunnel syndrome include girls and women, their professional activities, tasks, old age but also the existence of nervous conduct issues before the surgery. The imagery techniques (ultrasound and IRM) have an important role in setting the diagnosis of the Carpal tunnel syndrome. This study is aimed at limiting the flexion/extension movement at the level of the hand and of the fingers by using sensor gloves, thus contributing to the recovery of the persons with the Carpal tunnel syndrome but also to the prophylactics of this health condition. The established objectives for the recovery programmes and the scheduled optimised treatment schemes confirm the hypothesis of the research, namely that the use of the sensor gloves may reduce the length of the recovery treatment and it may achieve the prophylactics of this syndrome by limiting the mobilisation angles at the level of the hands and of the fingers and by avoiding the release of the inflammatory reactions at this level.
