A Novel SVPWM Over-Modulation Scheme for Three-Level Converter

摘要

As for three-level voltage source converter (VSC), a SVPWM over-modulation scheme is proposed in this article. The proposed scheme can realize the volt-second balance between the output voltage and the reference voltage and reduce fluctuation of the neutral-point voltage. The realization of the proposed scheme also is simple. The control strategies successfully are applied in the motor drive system of the large-power diode-clamped three-level converter which is based on IGCT. The simulation and experiment results show that the control strategies are valid.
