Resistor-Inductor-Capacitor (RLC) circuits form the building blocks of most electronic networks today and the evaluation of their behavior is of primary importance. This paper presents MNA-MAT, a MATLAB based analog circuit simulation tools. which uses Modified Nodal Analysis to reduce a SPICE netlist to a system of equations, which yield voltage at and current through specific points in a network. Monte Carlo Analysis adds further functionality to the tool by evaluating possible uncertainties in real-world working conditions. The results produced by MNA-MAT are accurately verified by SPICE based simulations.
