Audio-based Data Hiding using All-in Modulo of Difference

摘要

The development of technology has provided incredible achievements in the information and communication environment. Nevertheless, it also triggers cybercrime, disrupting the security and convenience of sharing information over the internet. Moreover, some activities require a highly secure process to transfer data, restricting public users from accessing it. In this research, a new method of audio-based data hiding is extended. This method uses the modulus function and the difference in sample values as a means of inserting a secret message. In more detail, the evaluation results show that the payload capacity can reach nearly 4 bits per audio sample. In addition, the PSNR value can reach 116.54 dB.
