Based on the exemplarily presented results the complexity of the measurement data and the ensuring variety of analysis options of the endurance test has to be made understandable. Taken as a whole, the extensive measurement results allow a very good understanding of corrosion-climatic loads situations in the entire vehicle. Of particular relevance is that the measured values are recorded without acceleration factors in a customer-related usage cycle in real-time. The test is initially intended until the end of June 2016 and will then provide a database of 3 years long measurement. Following the long-term study, the disassembly and diagnosis of the test vehicles condition with respect to corrosive aspects is conceivable. The insights gained in this way could be used inter alia for evaluating the proximity of time gathered climate change tests to real customers use.
