Best Management Practices for Compliance Assessments within the Air Force

Through the use and implementation of a standardized Air Quality Information Management System to manage regulatory requirements and assessments against the associated activities, the AF is realizing decreased environmental liability, cost of compliance, overall level of effort and improved compliance rates. Savings in both financial and man power resources are the direct result of consolidated and streamlined compliance tracking and automated reporting, furthermore the information gathered is more readily available to all levels throughout all layers of management and oversight throughout the enterprise.
