摘要

The modeling of thermostatically controlled loads (TCLs) is of great importance due to the vital role they play in demand response programs. A detailed multiphysics model of an air-conditioned house is proposed in this paper. A physically based modeling approach is used for constructing the model, which includes both house thermal modeling and air conditioner (AC) electrical modeling. The mathematical model expresses the thermal and electrical laws governing the operation of the TCL. An example system is simulated to evaluate the performance of the model, with realistic house and AC parameters. The house thermal model accurately captures the temperature dynamics of the house, while the AC electrical model accommodates various operational conditions of air conditioning. The proposed multiphysics model is integrated into power system simulation programs.
