A Fuzzy Approach in Optimal DG Planning

摘要

The paper proposes a fuzzy approach for the optimal distributed generation (DG) sources planning in the electrical distribution systems. This approach aims to determine the optimal nodes where DG sources can be connected and also the optimal degree of penetration of these sources. Through a proper installation of DG sources in distribution networks it can highlight the positive effects on power losses and voltage magnitude. The approach is tested on a 20 kV real distribution network.
