摘要

This paper proposes a new method for increasing efficiency transmission of electricity by cables, based on the change of Poynting Vector value, using an insulation electrically polarized by current conduction. The idea is to increase the tangential component of Poynting Vector, namely the density of electric power transmitted to consumers, by using special insulation of the cable which is polarized under the action of current conduction, increasing the radial component of the electric field at cable surface. The advantages of the method are: to increase the efficiency transmission of electric energy, to reduce the voltage drops, to decrease the losses due the Joule-Lenz effect, to increase the lifetime of the cable. This method is useful in the case of kilometers or tens of kilometers length of cable.
