Design information and records management framework for government organization based on ISO 30301:2011: Case study at PPID general election commissions west java

摘要

Public disclosure in Indonesia is now secured to the Act number 14 of 2008 on Public Information. Every public body shall have the PPID (Information Management Officer and Documentation). PPID function in managing public information are still many obstacles as there is no standard of management information and records, it impacts on the quality of information produced PPID. This paper present a case study research on information and records management framework based on ISO 30301:2011. The research methodology used in this study is Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM). Adopted a number of clauses contained in ISO 30301:2011 document, the requirements to be implemented by the PPID are Leadearship, Planning, Support, Operation, Performance Evaluation and Improvement. The results of this research are expected to be a guide for government agencies in serving public information with international standards.
